Everyday, we go through circumstances that make life hard for us. We are caught in life storms. When we forget about Jesus, we tend to fight on our own to cross over to that other side. However, this should not be the case because Jesus is always willing to come to our rescue. He will come to us despite the threshold of the storm.  In one particular moment, Jesus sent His disciples to cross over the other side of the lake while he went to the mountain to pray. As the disciple were crossing, a storm arose and they found it hard to cross over to the other side. They tried their best, but they could not manage for the wind was against them and the water was very rough. The battle front of Christians is prayer. It is through prayer that we subdue kingdoms and demolish all the strongholds of the evil one. Prayer, they say, is the life of a Christian. Without prayers, we cannot effectively minister in our different callings. Clearly from the Bible, the heroes of faith stood firm because they persisted in prayer. Just our Savior, seldom a day would pass without him withdrawing himself to a serene place and pray to His father. Its amazing how times and seasons change! As we live this life, we sigh and get astonished at the happenings. Despite these, there are things that will never change no matter what. Because Jesus is Lord, because there is none like him...he will reign forever. All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to him, and nothing will change that. He reigns! All majesty and power belong to him. Jesus is Lord!
